Regulations about the Art Council of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan and its structure are approved by the order of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan from 19.12.2005 № 317.

The Art Council is expert-advisory body of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan by definition of the art level of the works prepared for the edition on maintenance of reflection in products of the small printed form (stamps, the art marked envelopes and other philatelic production) the cultural and historical heritage of peoples living in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, flora and fauna, achievements in all fields of knowledge, the basic events of an internal and international life.

The Art Council in its activity is guided by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Degrees, Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Regulations, Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Decisions of the Board, Regulations of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan, Regulations about the state signs on post payment and memorable special stamps of the Republic of Uzbekistan the approved Degree of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan from September 19, 2005  № 226, the registered Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on October 6, 2005 № 1516.
                     
The basic tasks of the Council:
·        participation in formation of perspective and current thematic plans of release of stamps, the art marked envelopes and cards with original marks and other philatelic production;
·        formation of an art orientation of production providing independent art value of editions within the framework of requirements, showed to products of the small printed form;
·        assistance to release of high-quality production, influence on increase of professional skill of the artists working above sketches of stamps of special release, the art marked envelopes and cards with original marks and other philatelic production.

The rules of the Council works:
Sessions of the Council are held on a regular basis, but not less than 1-st quarter;
Over the work of the Council chairman who is responsible for performance of the tasks assigned to the Council supervises.

E.S.Shernazarov - Head of department on ecology of vertebrate animals of the Zoology institute, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Associated professor of biological sciences

T. Shomurodov – senior expert of the Department of popular scientific, documentary cinema and the preparations of scripts, video films of the National agency    «Uzbekkino»
