Regulations about the Commission on post emissions of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan and its structure are approved under the Decree of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan from 19.12.2005 № 319.
The commission on post emissions is a collegial body on development of the policy on questions of stamps release and other philatelic production, withdrawal of stamps from the reference.

The commission in its activity is guided by Decrees of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Orders, resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions, orders of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees of the Board, decrees, orders of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan, Regulations about the state signs on post payment and memorable special stamps of the Republic of Uzbekistan the authorized order of the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan  from September, 19, 2005 for № 226, the registered Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on October, 6, 2005 № 1516.
                     
The basic tasks and functions of the Commission:

·        definition of the general principles of emission policy;

·        formation of thematic plans of the stamps edition, the art marked envelopes and cards with original marks and other philatelic production, reflecting in plots of the small printed form the cultural and historical heritage of peoples living in the territory of the republic, flora and fauna, achievements in all fields of knowledge, the basic events of an internal and international life;

·        consideration and entering on approval of thematic plans projects of stamps release, the art marked post envelopes and cards with original marks, other philatelic production and stamps of special clearing.

The order of the Commission work:

The Commission work is carried out by carrying out regular (but not less often than 2 times one year) sessions.

The decision on carrying out of session of the Commission and date of its carrying out is accepted by chairman of the Commission or by its deputy.
