The Week InfoCom 2006 would be held from September 25 till September 29, 2006, in the course of which is planned a plenty of events and actions devoted or concerning various aspects of information-communication technologies (ICT) and designed either for the narrow circle of experts and on the widest stratum of the population. Within the framework of the week is planned to carry out of events, directed on achievements demonstration of the domestic and foreign companies of ICT sector, and also the meetings organization of representatives of the state, educational and private structures for discussion of ICT application issues in various life spheres. · Ceremony of rewarding of winners of IT Marathon, etc. National Summit on information-communication technologies - Summit ICT 2006 would be held on September 25-26, 2006 in Tashkent. Within the framework of Summit will pass the plenary and sectional sessions. The general themes cover the tendencies and the basic changes in regulative policy, achievements and problems in realizations of national programs development of ICT, development problems of the infrastructure and other actual problems. Reports issues include: IT in the government management, e-commerce, e-education, e-health, technoparks, and outsourcing, the copyright, free and open software, information resources, and access to the ICT. At the exhibition will be demonstrated all existing and perspective kinds of services on the base of info communication technologies, as focused on representatives of business - community and bodies of the government and on wide stratum of population. The domestic and foreign IT-companies, suppliers of the telecommunication equipment, scientific and educational institutes, representatives of the ministries and departments will take part in it. As the organizer of the exhibition is acceded the Enterprises Association and organizations of information technologies of Uzbekistan. The event is planned to hold in September 27-29, 2006. The purpose of conference is discussion of information technologies problems during the languages processing including, technologies of processing of languages, web - annexes and multimedia. Besides all, special attention will be given to the technical researches in sphere of the e-government, e-education and free software. The rate of consultations joint organized by Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT), the Korean society of processing of the information (KSPI) and the Research-engineering center of internationalization of information technologies (RECIIT) in building of ÒUIÒ, represents an opportunity for students and all interested persons to receive the consultations from the international experts on questions of use of various technologies and the newest software products. The youth Internet - marathon started on June 24, 2006 all over the republic. For participation the youth from 5 till 35 years are invited. The marathon is dated for the 15-anniversary of Day of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and will consist of five nominations:
· The best figure or poster devoted to the IT role in development of social and economic youth life
· The best page devoted to youth of Uzbekistan
· The best knowledge of fast information search in the Internet
· The best use of computer in the educational purposes
· The best use of communication opportunities of Internet in educational and professional work
