| Tariffs for telecommunication services In compliance with the Article 14 of Law «On telecommunications» the tariffs for telecommunication services are established on contractual basis with taking into account the expenses for their in compliance with the legislation. Tariffs for universal telecommunication services are controlled by the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan in view of interests of users as agreed with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Universal services is a set of obligatory services of established quality provided to all users through the public use telecommunication network (providing the access of users to this network, local, long-distance and international calls, sending, telegrams and etc.). In compliance with Article 13 of Law «About telecommunications» the operators and providers of public use telecommunication network on the basis of licenses provide the universal telecommunication services of established quality to the all users without any restrictions. The list of universal services and requirements to their quality are determined by the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan. The call of express on-line services (fire-fighting service, police, medical aid, emergency call gas network service and others) by the all users is made free-of-charge. The list of express on-line services is determined by the legislation. Tariffs for universal services Tariffs for other telecommunication services Tariffs for post communication services In compliance with the Article 10 of the Law «On post communication» the payment for post communication services, except for the universal services is determined under the tariffs established by the operator or provider on contractual basis. The payment for universal services is established by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of tariffs approved by the Communications and Information agency of Uzbekistan. Universal services are the universal services of post communication that is the services of public use post communication on transfer of the written correspondence that are provided to all users within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Universal services in territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan are provided by the National Operator. The rules of universal services provision and requirements to their quality are determined by the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan in compliance with the legislation. The payment for transmission of the written correspondence confirmed by the drifted to the correspondence the state orders of postal payment.
