THE BOARD OF THE COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION AGENCY OF UZBEKISTAN BOARD The Board of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan is formed in compliance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan ¹ 215 of 7.05.2004 “Concerning the actions on improvement of activities of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan”. The Regulation about the Board of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan is approved by the Decision of the Board of CIA Uz, ¹ 13À of June, 18, 2003. The primary goals of the Board are the duly, collective, qualified and objective consideration and acceptance of constructive decisions on the basic issues of the Communications and Information Agency activity, communication and information sphere development, wide-scale use of scientific and technical achievements, interdepartmental and intergovernmental relations development, as well as under the drafts of the major Decrees and other Legislations of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan and other questions. According to its decisions the Board aims the groups of state and other organizations of the communications and information sphere to the methodological realization of actions on transformations to the branches, to the introduction of market relations and related to this new kinds and forms of activities with the purpose of achievement of the advanced level of efficiency and quality in the activity of the enterprises. In the Meetings of the Board are considered and approved the decisions on issues related to arrangement of the managerial personnel which are included into the Agency system. Personal staff of the Board of the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan is authorized by the corresponding Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and it is consists of eleven members:
